About the Event

Stress is unavoidable but also manageable. Cortisol, which is part of your body's natural response to stress, is important for your health, but what happens when you have too much?  Chris will discuss how our stress-response system works in a perfect world, how it works in the REAL world, and provide approachable, adoptable tools and techniques to manage stress and improve your wellness.


Chris, grew up in Kansas (complete with ruby slippers) and graduated from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy (Rock Chalk Jayhawks!). She has dedicated her entire 20+-year career to the specialty field of compounding pharmacy because it enables her to provide personalized patient care. She has taught compounding pharmacy skills across the US and Canada, including for the Professional Compounding Centers of America and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
