Retail Health & Wellness Associate (Full-time or Part-time)

Do you have an interest in health and wellness, including nutritional and herbal supplements? Would you enjoy expanding and using your knowledge in a busy retail atmosphere while getting paid for it? If you're thinking "absolutely," then keep reading!  We are most interested in candidates who have a demonstrated interest in health, wellness, nutritional supplements and natural products, whether on a personal or professional level.

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service; ensure customer needs are met in a friendly and timely fashion.

  • Provide customers with helpful information and guidance about nutritional and herbal supplements, essential oils, and natural body care products.

  • Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) register to check-out customers.

  • Stock merchandise and assist with inventory management

  • Maintain store appearance, including cleaning duties.

  • Other misc. duties necessary to assist customers and coworkers.

Shifts will vary in time and length between 9:00am-6:30pm M-F and 8:30-1:30pm on Saturdays. Rotating weekend shifts will be required. The position often requires working on your feet for up to eight hours and some light lifting, approximately 10-15lbs.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • High energy; passion for helping others in their pursuit of health and wellness; an outgoing, friendly personality

  • Enthusiasm for our products, core values, and company philosophy

  • Demonstrated interest and knowledge of nutritional and herbal supplements, essential oils and CBD and other natural health products

  • Previous customer service and merchandising experience in retail is a plus

  • Must be self-motivated! Upon completion of training, you should be able to follow procedures and instructions independently

  • Good basic math, verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities a plus

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Basic proficiency with computer applications and programs including email, Microsoft Office, and point-of-sale software.

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Job Type:

Full-time (with full benefits) or Part-time (approx 15-25hrs/week plus paid time off, paid holidays, employee discount, 401K))

Pay:

$16-$20 per hour

Full-time Pharmacy Lab Technician

Lab technicianS work in our compounding lab, where we make pharmaceutical medications for people and animals according to physician/provider prescriptions. Lab experience and/or Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred but not required.

​

Knowledge and skills that we seek from applicants:

- Experience using and maintaining lab equipment

- Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations regarding compounding pharmacy

- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Good communication skills with patients, coworkers and healthcare providers

- Ability to work independently following established protocols

- Good math skills in order to perform pharmacy and compounding calculations

- Consistent attention to detail and good organizational skills.

- Experience with PK Compounder pharmacy software is desirable but not required.

This is a full-time position. Normal work hours will be between 8am to 6pm, Mon-Fri; 9am to 1pm on Sat.; closed Sundays and major holidays. Occasional overtime may occur. Applicants must be available to work rotating weekends.
