Although we usually take the summer off from our webinar series, there are important things happening that we think all our thyroid patients and providers will want to know about as soon as possible, especially those who are using desiccated thyroid extracts (DTEs) such as Armour Thyroid, NP Thyroid and Compounded Thyroid. The short version is that the FDA has indicated that it plans to reclassify DTE as a biologic as early as August 2026, which could result in them being removed from the market for months or even years.
